Singles, multiples and systems

A single contains one selection. A multiple combines legs and usually needs all non-void selections to win for the full return. A system includes combinations and can cost more because it contains multiple lines.

Check how a void or postponed leg affects price, whether every selection is accepted and whether stake is per line or total. A large potential return is not expected return.

Handicaps and totals

A handicap adjusts the score or outcome. Whole lines may push; quarter lines may split a stake. Three-way handicaps can settle differently. Totals ask if an outcome is over or under a line, but period and exact-line handling matter.

Read the sport and market rules. A first-half total, full-match total and tournament total are distinct propositions.

Builders and special markets

A bet builder combines selections from one event if allowed; correlated outcomes may be priced together, not as multiplied singles. Player markets may require a start or appearance.

We did not test Betway’s builder or settlement. Review every leg, price, stake and return on the final slip. If wording is unclear, do not confirm.
